Due to extremely high volume of visitors during peak periods: (May 1 to October 31) 10:00am to 3:00pm All individual visitors must take a guided tour (small fee) If you wish to visit on your own (May through October), you must enter BEFORE 10am or after 3pm (They open at 8am) Auschwitz II-Birkenau can still be visited without a guide during regular opening hours.
